Top 5 Ways on How to Endure Examination Week With a Breeze

Examination week is one heck of a tough ride to get pass in your high school life. It’s so stressful at times that you can’t help but wish there’s no school at all.

But as someone who’s been there and done that, you don’t have to stress yourself too much over it. Yes, grades matter when you want to enter university but know that you don’t have to burn yourself too much.

Trust me when I say that you don’t have to feel guilty when you want to go out and have fun on exam week. After all, it’s one way to de-stress yourself and to energize your mind for improved performance.

However, if you must juggle without burning yourself down with stress, here are tips you could use:

  • Read First

Before the big exam week, the first thing that you should do is to read up. Don’t study yet. Just read. This will condition your mind for what lays head. By the time you study, you’ve already understood the subject. All you just have to do is to focus on areas that you feel you’re weak at. This way, you wouldn’t have to cram the following week.

  • Listen to soothing music

If you’re the type of student that likes to study in a relaxing environment then I am willing to bet that you have soothing music playing right now. Listening to tranquil music while studying can help heaps with memory just like how other types of music can trigger our certain emotions.

  • Go out and have fun

Before the big exam week, why not go out and enjoy over your time après-studying. One medical student I know said he’d go out to watch a movie prior to the big test day just to get his mind off things and relax.

That said, go shopping with a friend or enjoy a breezy afternoon at the beach in a gorgeous getup like this relaxing blue gradient maxi dress. Do things that make you relax so you can clear your mind and psyche yourself up for the big day.

  • Party moderately

If spending a relaxing afternoon doesn’t quite cut it for you then go out and party, though moderately.  I’m not being a bad influence or whatever but sometimes you just have to let loosen up even if it’s just for a night.

Don’t let your frustration over exam week get the best of you and ruin your fun. Go out, get dressed in something edgy like this black knit short bell sleeve top, and live. You deserve it after all. Just don’t get drunk because you don’t want a hangover on test day. Trust me.

  • Review your lessons

On the eve of exam day or a few hours before you take it, unwind in the living room with a hot cup of cocoa as you review your notes. This is to make sure that you don’t miss anything as well as reinforce the knowledge that you’ve already obtained from reading and studying.
