Examination week is one heck of a tough ride to get pass in your high school life. It’s so stressful at times that you can’t help but wish there’s no school at all.

But as someone who’s been there and done that, you don’t have to stress yourself too much over it. Yes, grades matter when you want to enter university but know that you don’t have to burn yourself too much.

Trust me when I say that you don’t have to feel guilty when you want to go out and have fun on exam week. After all, it’s one way to de-stress yourself and to energize your mind for improved performance.

However, if you must juggle without burning yourself down with stress, here are tips you could use:

  • Read First

Before the big exam week, the first thing that you should do is to read up. Don’t study yet. Just read. This will condition your mind for what lays head. By the time you study, you’ve already understood the subject. All you just have to do is to focus on areas that you feel you’re weak at. This way, you wouldn’t have to cram the following week.

  • Listen to soothing music

If you’re the type of student that likes to study in a relaxing environment then I am willing to bet that you have soothing music playing right now. Listening to tranquil music while studying can help heaps with memory just like how other types of music can trigger our certain emotions.

  • Go out and have fun

Before the big exam week, why not go out and enjoy over your time après-studying. One medical student I know said he’d go out to watch a movie prior to the big test day just to get his mind off things and relax.
